Bowling for Soup

I pretty much can’t bowl to save my life and have absolutely no business being here at the bowling alley. But it was a company event and me being the coordinator, couldn’t possibly squirm out of it.

Come to think of it, it ain’t that big a deal. Just roll a few balls, hand out high fives and do a whole load of waiting. Wouldn’t hurt if I add a dash of photo taking into that routine. And that’s just what I did.

Outtakes of Roll #351

Nope, I didn’t actually take 351 rolls of film. In fact, I’m closer to roll #30 than roll #300.

Here are some shots that are either overexposed, underexposed, out of focus or just plain weird. These are the shots that I usually don’t bother to post. Shots which I condemn as mistakes.

But on 2nd look, they are still capable of bringing across a message. Despite of their inadequacy, they still brought me back to that moment the shot was taken. In that sense, I guess they are “good” photos.

All mistakes made with the LC-A+ RL on ISO 100 film.

Oh Memories, Where’d You Go?

A wise man once said, “There’s a time and a place for everything, and it’s called college.”

For me, that place was University. I’m not saying I partied a hell load, turn up drunk for classes or experimented with drugs. Nothing that dramatic.

Just good old independent living, doing your own laundry, cooking your own meals (if I’m in the mood), staying up all night stalking Facebook profiles, etc. And no, national service doesn’t count because it stinks and you have no freedom whatsoever.

Genting + KL Road Trippin’

with my favourite allies… (10 bonus points for those who know which song I’m referencing without googling)

Well sort of, except instead of driving our own vehicle we relied on buses and taxis. Which means we spent a whole chunk of our trip sleeping in awkward positions, waking up to pins and needles and holding our pee in. Other than that, the getaway was pretty much awesome.

For starters, we overslept, almost missed the bus and had our fair share of childish giggles.

"Damnnn dat ass", said the aunties after checking out our dear friend's junk

Finally reached Genting and gambled for a couple of hours. Was my 1st ever attempt at the tables and I can conclude there is no such thing as beginner’s luck. At least for me.

King Kenny

I just wonder why didn’t anybody think of this before.
No, not the nickname. The t-shirt.

King as in the King in the deck of playing cards. And Kenny as in Kenny Dalglish. I present to you the latest design from my online store,

Kenny Dalglish tee

I included some Liverpool references in the design such as the Liver bird, the 5 times European Cup wins and the famous YNWA slogan. Also sneak in a reference to Celtic which Kenny started his playing career at.

Do drop by shirtyfooty.com and get your King Kenny tees in men, women or children sizes. Or feel free to check out other tshirt designs. I bet they will come in pretty handy as Christmas gifts.
